This module can be considered the starter under the components: a front office tool with a secure connection to an existing or newly installed database. Frequently chosen to be implemented first in an incremental implementation of an extended Quinity Insurance Solution package.
The module supports:
- online entering of a premium calculation, quotation or policy subscription
- display and printing (PDF) of premium calculations, quotations, application forms and forms for change
- display and printing (PDF) of coverage confirmations and health certificates
- browsing through and changing policies (if using an external policy management system)
- attribution of appplications to process groups
- several online reports
- automatic sending of confirmation emails
- automatic and manual underwriting, by using the underwriting rules laid down in the product definition
- manual underwriting by internal employees and employees of intermediaries
- several underwriting levels (from junior to specialist)
- packages and individual policies
- issuance of temporary coverage
- credit card payments
- online interface with external data sources (e.g. databases with postal codes, vehicle or fraud registers)
- use of external data in underwriting system (e.g.data on fraud)
